Interim Ministry Network

Annual Conference

HISTORY

In 1981 The Interim Ministry Network held its first conference at the St. Benedict Center in Madison Wisconsin. This conference provided a common ground for different denominations to meet to discuss new and innovative ideas for Interim Ministry.

Today IMN is still gathering on common ground with over 26 denominations gathering once a year to discuss what works and revise what does not work in a congregations during the transitional period.

Each conference provides well known Keynote speakers, ecumenical worship services and a wide range of workshops like: Sexual Misconduct, Asset Mapping, Small group Ministry, Conflict Management, Worship Styles, Self Care and many more.

These conferences provide time for each participant to gather within their denomination to discuss denominational policies and practices. There are many social times for the participants to do community building. Many participants look forward to these conference so they can connect with old friends and meet new ones.
