Just as the people in Exile experienced dislocation from Jerusalem,
we too find hope in the words of the prophet. Isaiah 43:18-19
As Transitional Leaders, we are called to help our people find new ways. We do that by singing new songs, telling new stories, seeking new paths, and engaging new ways.
Come join us as we support one another and find Hope in the new.
The IMN Annual Conference showcases the best new thinking in transitional ministry.
Not just for Interim Clergy. Transition is all around us and it happens everyday in all faith communities. IMN provides directly applicable information and best practices for all clergy and lay leaders who are leading faith communities during all types of transition.
Practitioners lead workshops; keynote/plenary speakers offer wisdom, expertise and passion; participants share their experiences; new friendships are formed; and all participants leave with nourishment and enhanced courage for their next transition.
The IMN Annual Conference continues for a fourth year in a virtual format.
Our approach to meeting the desire of some to come together and have some face-to-face experiences is Hubs. While the Annual Conference will be presented virtually for all, those who choose a Hub option will be able to gather in geographically located small groups. Our intention is to create at least 10 Hubs distributed throughout the US and Canada.
COMING SOON!
CALL FOR WORKSHOPS – The Conference Team is accepting workshop proposals. Proposals are due June 30th.
What is a hub site? For example: We have a host that lives and serves in Santa Rosa, located in Northern California. They will be the host of the Santa Rosa/San Francisco Hub. Anyone who lives within driving or flying distance can come to Santa Rosa and gather at the host’s church. The building has several spaces where all can come together as well as separate. The Annual Conference will be held on Zoom but members who attend in Santa Rosa will have the option of meeting together during portions of each day. After the Conference concludes each day those being housed in Santa Rosa will have the opportunity to participate in getting together for dinner and other activities. The host will assist with finding affordable housing options locally. Those who register for Hubs will be eligible for a reduced registration fee to help offset their overall Conference expense.
Hub sites are coordinated by individuals and not the IMN office. Each hub will have group meeting space and Wi-Fi capabilities. Groups can decide at their own expense for breakout spaces, refreshments, and accommodations.
If you would like to host a Hub site – contact the IMN office 410-719-0777
