Chris Hart, UCC
IMN Navigator
As of January 2026, Chris works alongside the Executive Team and Board of Directors, IMN Staff, Denominational Judicatories and with relevant IMN Teams. Chris will be assisting us in navigating this time of transition for IMN in 3 essential focus areas: financial sustainability, organizational cohesion, and fortifying relational partnerships.
Rev. Chris Hart is a poet, storyteller, process theologian, transition specialist, consultant, revitalization pastor, and artist. He is committed to helping the church of today emerge into the 22nd century. He is dedicated to excellent transitional ministry and serves IMN on several leadership teams. He uses an empowering and adaptive leadership style to help communities of faith grow and change. Chris is passionate about worship that is fresh, creative, engaging, and participatory. He earned his Master of Divinity from Eden Theological Seminary in 2008 and is currently a Social Transformation Doctoral Student at United Theological Seminary.
Chris is energized to serve IMN during this time of transformation and becoming. He said: “I love walking with faith communities as they experiment, adapt, and discover new possibilities.” This is a passion that has been shaped through years of service with IMN, including faculty leadership.

Ellen Goudy, UCC
Education and Membership Manager
Ellen M. Goudy, IMN Education and Membership Manager since 1996.
Ellen supports members and transitional leaders regarding their questions about IMN membership, invoices and educational opportunities including the Fundamentals of Transitional Leadership (FTL) training, webinars and seminars.
As the IMN Education and Membership Manager she enjoys being a part of the conversation with people from a variety of faith communities exploring their spiritual development.
Her organization, communication, listening skills and knowledge are a perfect fit as she works on membership outreach and educational events. Equipping and supporting those who lead during times of transition is a part of her personal mission as well as IMN’s mission. She collaborates with IMN Staff, IMN Faculty, IMN members and other key leaders.
Ellen earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Towson University in 1995. Her first place of employment was the Central Atlantic Conference, United Church of Christ as the administrator for the Make a Difference Campaign. The Conference office’s close proximity to the Interim Ministry Network was a perfect addition to her daily commute.
When not at her computer, Ellen enjoys reading good books of many genres, watching nostalgic television programs and is a huge fan of the Peanuts comics by Charles M. Schulz. In addition, to IMN Education and Membership Manager her most important title is one of “Aunt Ellen” to her niece and nephew.

Crystal Wells, ELCA
Program and Finance Manager
Crystal Wells currently holds the position of Program and Finance Manager at IMN, where her extensive responsibilities include providing support to the IMN Board of Directors, the Annual Conference Team, and various fundraising initiatives. She does the bookkeeping and manages all aspects of finances. Additionally, her role encompasses responsibilities as an IT administrator, webmaster, and marketing and social media manager.
Crystal’s tenure with IMN began in December 1996 when she joined as a part-time receptionist. Prior to her role at IMN, she garnered valuable experience across various organizations, specializing in patient accounting, retail, and office management from Virginia to Southern California. In the years after graduation, she attained certifications in bookkeeping, website and newsletter layout design, and family systems 101. Her commitment to community service is evident through her previous participation on the church council, teaching Sunday school, and fulfilling roles as PTA treasurer and president. She has successfully organized shoe drives, flower sales, and numerous fundraisers that have made a significant impact on both church and school communities.
Throughout her career, Crystal has been fortunate to receive support from many individuals who have contributed to her personal and professional growth, and she expresses her heartfelt gratitude for their patience and guidance.
