Navigating transitions in faith communities poses challenges for leaders who must balance authority and faithfulness. Supporting these leaders requires fostering resilience, managing expectations, and reflecting on core values. While some confront authority amid fear, others seek community. Key questions include: Why do we do what we do? and How do we live into our why?
An Inspiring Start: Leadership, Healing, and Transformation
The conference begins with a social event celebrating the IMN community, followed by a keynote by Rev. Dr. Shannon Michael Pater, Psy.D. on Trauma-Integrating Somatic Leadership. Dr. Pater will share insights on guiding congregations through chaos to promote healing and resilience, combining psychology and spirituality. An interactive workshop will follow, allowing participants to apply these insights in their ministry practice.
Day Two presents The Rev. Dr. Eric H. F. Law from the Kaleidoscope Institute, who explores From Transition to Transformation: Building Sustainable Faith Communities. He introduces the Holy Currencies framework, serving as a treasure map for congregations to harness their untapped potential for growth and renewal, guiding leaders towards a vibrant, mission-driven future.
