Plymouth Congregational Church in Helena, MT is seeking an interim for March 29, 2027 through May 23, 2027 for sabbatical coverage.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Sunday worship services.
- Work with Church Office, Worship Committee, Music Director, and liturgists to prepare for Sunday worship.
- Prepare Orders of Service, Worship Guide outlines, and Website uploads.
- Proofread Worship Guides and PowerPoints.
- Prepare and deliver a 12–15-minute sermon.
- Celebrate communion under supervision of Intern Supervisor on the first Sunday of the month.
- Work with Church Office, Worship Committee, Music Director, and liturgists to prepare for Sunday worship.
- Prepare and lead Bible Study on Tuesday mornings.
- Attend and report to Council and Pastoral Care Committee.
- Coordinate pastoral care visits with Pastoral Care Committee.
- Lead Worship Committee meetings.
- Call meetings and create agendas.
- Meet with Intern Supervisor, weekly.
Compensation:
$50/hour, 16 hours/week for 8 weeks.
Total: $6,400
Housing and vehicle included.
