The Association of Disciples Intentional Interim Ministers(ADIIM)

- To create a network of mutual support, information sharing and prayer among all Intentional Interim Ministers in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the USA and Canada.
- To educate the church in it’s three manifestations, local, regional, and general, to the unique purpose, benefits, and uses of Intentional Interim Ministry.
- To create and maintain a set of acceptable standards for members while keeping well within the standards, procedures, and the Ministerial Code of Ethics of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the USA and Canada. As well as those accepted practices within the Interim Ministry Network, Inc.
The National Association of Lutheran Interim Pastors (NALIP)
The Interim Ministry Association of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (IMA -ELCA) and the Interim Ministry Conference Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (IMC-LCMS), works to:
- Promote general awareness of Intentional Interim Ministry and its issues,

- Develop and offer programs for the training and continuing education of Lutheran Interim ministry practitioners, and
- Exercise good stewardship of resources, and pursue sources of funding.
Began its service to American Baptists in 1977 under the name, Ministers-at-Large Program. The title change came in 1997 when it expanded its vision and services. ABCIM recruits, screens and maintains a register of primarily American Baptist Pastors who have shown an interest and aptitude for interim leadership. The Area Ministers and Regional Staff, who work closest to each church, personalize our services. All the churches, that make use of the program, benefit from three outside sources: the Interim Pastor, the Regional Staff and the personnel at the national office. Such collaboration ensures support, ready responses for problem solving and the security of multiple caring ABC leaders who want the church to thrive.
